REPORT A WET BASEMENT

Please call your municipal public works department to report water in your basement. A copy of the form below will also be shared with your municipality. If your municipality is unable to help you, call MMSD at (414) 272-5100. For help identifying the cause of water in your basement, visit our 'Water in My Basement' page. 

For residents who sustained losses and damage to their homes from the August 9-10, 2025, storms, FEMA applications are now open. Apply online by November 12, 2025, or call the FEMA Helpline at 1-800-621-3362. For more information and assistance, contact Milwaukee County FEMA aid and 211 Wisconsin.
