Green luminaries help protect our rivers and Lake Michigan by harvesting rainfall for other uses or by mimicing nature and draining it into the ground to reduce water pollution.
The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District applauds Sid Grinker Restoration, Inc. for its commitment to the community and concern for the environment. The renovation project of their central city headquarters beautifies the neighborhood and helps manage water where it falls. Through a combination of permeable pavers, stormwater trees, and native plantings, the project can manage up to 21,000 gallons of runoff each time it rains.
