One Water, Our Water Career Fair

The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD), Milwaukee Water Works (MWW), Veolia Water Milwaukee, Milwaukee Water Commons, and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) would like to announce the One Water, Our Water: Explore Milwaukee Water Jobs Fair on August 24th, 2022 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Milwaukee DNR Headquarters (1027 W. St Paul Ave., Milwaukee). Free parking in the lot, bike parking, and Intermodal bus stop access.

This event acts on the recommendations outlined in the Equitable Water Future Roadmap, deepening our commitment to equity within Milwaukee, as it furthers our engagement with the work of the Milwaukee Water Equity Taskforce. As the Equitable Water Future Roadmap states, though Milwaukee positions itself as a water-centric city, its water workforce does not reflect its population’s diversity. Building a more equitable water workforce requires understanding and addressing the barriers to entry, particularly for people living in historically underserved communities.
