To help capture and manage millions of gallons of water every time it rains, MMSD has approved a $20 million dollar investment in a new Community Based Green Infrastructure program.

MMSD is partnering with Milwaukee County Parks and others to make improvements along the Kinnickinnic River and within Jackson Park.

More than $80 million will be invested this year in wastewater treatment and flood management projects for the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD), part of a six-year plan that totals $1.5 billion (including debt service).
