We are excited to share updates on the Kinnickinnic River & Jackson Park Project! As we move forward into the final design phase, we want your input on the new playground design, proposed north of the KK River Parkway (see figure). View the two playground options below and complete the survey to share your feedback—we’d love to hear from you!
Option 1: This playground features an awesome tower with thrilling slides for kids ages 5-12. The hill play areas are larger and designed for older kids who love a challenge—think slides, climbing spots, and pathways built into the hill for active exploration. It also includes a large swing set, ground-level activities like interactive panels, and freestanding play pieces like balance steps and spinners for extra fun.
Option 2: This playground offers climbers and slides connected by decks and steps, perfect for kids ages 5-12. The hill play areas are smaller and ideal for younger kids, with gentle slopes and features like slides and climbing spots that are easy to explore. Like Option 1, it includes a large swing set, ground-level activities such interactive panels, and freestanding play pieces like balance steps and spinners to add variety.
We value your input! Please answer the following questions to help us shape this project.
