The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) is partnering with the City of Milwaukee and City of Wauwatosa to make flood risk reduction improvements along the Menomonee River in Western Milwaukee along West State Street between North 60 Street and USH 175. Today we want your feedback about an improved trail at Doyne Park and a plaque for the Menomonee River floodwall!
1. Doyne Park Trail
As part of this project we will be restoring a portion of the south bank on the Menomonee River in Doyne Park (See map below). This will include a gravel trail along the river.
Along the trail we have the option to add limestone block resting areas (examples shown in photos below).
