2020 Water Quality Initiative
As part of the WaterMarks project, a local artist will be selected to create a work of art for the West Basin project and lead walks.
An expert of a particular topic will join the artist and co-lead two community walks. The walks are an opportunity to learn more about the land, water, and neighborhoods near the West Basin.

For the past 8 years, Muneer Bahauddeen, influenced by Dogon and Ghannian imagery, has produced large-scale 500-square-foot tile murals. Slab construction is his usual method as well as assemblage using paper, graphite, gold, and copper leaf and oil pastels.
Booker Lambouths
Based in Milwaukee, Booker Lambouths, has trained and studied at MKE Inner City Art Council and the Southside Community Art Center in Chicago. His portfolio includes drawings in graphite, oil, watercolors, acrylic, pastel and color pencil.
Terrell Morgan
Terrell Morgan is an artist that goes by Ego the Artist. He’s also an experienced creative director with a demonstrated history of work in the marketing and advertising industry with professional skills in graphics, logo design, and typography.
Kailey Samolyk
Kailey Samolyk, owner of Mix & Splash Art Studio, is a local artist specializing in portrait paintings and murals. Results-oriented and skilled in delivering work from concept through revisions, she’s versed in all aspects of art creation and installation.
Wyethe Smallish
Wyethe Smallish, residing on 35th Street, trained at MIAD and MATC. She specializes in creating colorful, graphic artwork, using various media, including ink, watercolor, and digital tools. She specializes om artwork that tells a larger story.
Dylan Wallace
Dylan Wallace, residing on 35th Street, serves as a project designer for GROTH Design Group. In his sculpture work, he typically works with clay, stone and metal. He has a passion for designing environments to inspire future learners.
